Towards Rodneys Pillar at Sunset

 A winter sunset,

Furnace-like, fiery and bright,

Nature's artistry.


The sky ablaze with hues,

Of orange, pink, and red,

A sight to behold,

As the sun sets ahead.


The trees stand tall and proud,

Silhouetted against the sky,

A peaceful winter scene,

That makes the heart sigh.


The air is crisp and cold,

But the beauty warms the soul,

A moment to cherish,

As the day comes to a close.


The fiery sunset fades,

As the stars begin to shine,

A winter night descends,

A moment frozen in time.
